Editing an Event

Sometimes, plans change—and that’s okay! Whether it’s updating a show date, adjusting details, or adding new information, editing an event is simple and straightforward. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Navigate to the Event

  1. Go to the Calendar or List View where your event is displayed.

  2. Locate the event you want to edit.

  3. Click the event title to open the event page.

Step 2: Open the Edit Screen

  1. Click the three dots (•••) next to the event title.

  2. Select "Edit" from the dropdown menu.

  3. This will open the event editor, which looks identical to the Add Event screen.

Step 3: Make Your Changes

Adjust any of the fields, just like when you created the event.

  • Title (*): Give your event a name, e.g., “Headline Show Brussels, BE”.

  • Date (*): Select the date of the event.

  • Start Time: Add the event’s start time - we recommend using the actual show time.

  • Time Zone (*): Ensure the correct time zone is set for the event.

  • Event Type (*): Click the type that best describes your event (e.g., Performance, Rehearsal).

    • Need to customize your event types? Click the "manage" link next to the event types to adjust them in your band settings.

  • Status (*): Indicate the event’s current status (e.g., Confirmed, Pending).

  • Description (optional): Add extra details about the event, such as other acts performing, info about a corporate event, ...

Heads Up: The Title, Date, Time Zone, Event Type, and Status fields are mandatory. The other fields are optional but can be quite useful when filled in.

Step 4: Save Your Changes

Once you’ve made all the necessary edits, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.

If your edits include a date change, you’ll see a pop-up with important follow-up options to ensure all event-related information is updated correctly.

Step 5: Respond to the Pop-Up

If you’ve changed the date of the event, the pop-up will guide you through updating associated details. Here's what you'll might

see:

Actions You Can Take:

  • Tick the boxes for the dates you want to adjust:

    • Schedule dates

    • Travel dates

    • Accommodation dates

    • Resend existing RSVP requests for the new date

  • Click the "Adapt dates" button to confirm your selections.

If you don’t want to make any additional changes, click "No thanks" to skip this step.

Be aware that dates will remain unchanged for the unselected boxes!!!
