Technical Remarks Block Overview

Technical remarks and custom file types

Updated over a month ago

The Technical Remarks section lets you share critical production and technical details for your event in a flexible and customisable format. Whether you want to provide quick notes or attach a full technical rider, this section adapts to your needs.

How to Add the Technical Remarks Block

To include the block in your event:

  1. Navigate to your event detail page.

  2. Click the left navigation widget and select Add To event.

  3. Choose Technical Remarks from the list.

Mark that if you change the name in your Band Settings, you will not be able to see it as Technical Remarks

You can also use the three-dot menu either on the event page or next to an existing section to access the Technical Remarks block if it’s already created.

Options for Adding Information

The Section supports two input methods:

  • Text Field: Enter your technical details in plain text. Use formatting tools like bold, italic, bullet points, and numbered lists to structure your notes clearly.

  • File Uploads: Attach important files such as your technical rider, stage plot, lighting specs, or other relevant documents. You can also upload images like diagrams, stage plots, or venue photos.

To keep associated information connected, you can also link contacts and places within the section.

Tips for Best Use

The Technical Remarks block is designed to be as flexible as your needs:

  • Use it for quick summaries or detailed instructions.

  • Upload a complete rider for venues and production crews.

  • Attach diagrams or photos for visual reference.

  • Update it anytime as details evolve.

Have you ever considered creating several technical remarks by splitting them up in Light, sound or video for example? If this is your style, predefined them in your band settings
