How to Set Accommodation Permissions
Accommodation permissions control what each band member can view or manage within the Accommodation section of your events. You can customize these settings per user from your band’s Members page.
Step-by-Step: Editing Accommodation Permissions
Go to the Members Page
From the main navigation, select your band.
Click the Members tab at the top of the screen.
Open the Permissions Panel
On the left side, click Permissions to see an overview of each permission block.
In the modal or table that appears, scroll to the section labeled Event: Accommodation.
To change someone’s permissions, Click Edit All Permissions on the right of the person's row.
Alternative: use the action button next to the members name in the general member overview list and select Edit Permissions on the right side.
Adjust the Permissions
Each permission is divided by scope:
Attending Events – applies only when the member is attending the event.
All Events – applies regardless of attendance.
Available permissions:
View Personal Accommodation
Allows the member to see their own and general accommodation assignments.View Other Accommodation
Grants access to view other members’ accommodation details.Manage Accommodation Blocks
Permits creating, editing, and deleting accommodation blocks.
Suggested Settings by Role
General Band Members
View Personal Accommodation – Attending Events/ All Events
Tour Managers or Crew Chiefs
View Personal Accommodation – All Events
View Other Accommodation – Attending or All Events (as appropriate)
Manage Accommodation Blocks – Attending or All Events (depending on responsibility)
Tip:
For most users, enabling View Personal Accommodation – Attending Events is sufficient.
Use All Events for users who need consistent access across the tour, such as managers.
Grant Manage Accommodation Blocks only to those responsible for editing accommodation data.
