Congratulations on creating your event! Now it’s time to add all the essential details that make your event a success. This is done on the Event Details page, where you can organize everything in one place.
Getting Started with the Event Details Page
When you first open your event, the details page will be blank. To help you get started, you’ll see some helpful shortcuts at the top of the page:
- Add venue details: Set the location for your event.
- Who's joining this event? Invite people: Add your team members, artists, and crew.
- Manage this event's guestlist: Set up and track your guest requests and manage your guest list.
- What's the schedule like on the day of the event? Add the hours: Plan your event timeline.
- How are you traveling to/from the venue?: Input travel details for the team.
Note: These shortcuts are designed to help you get started quickly and will disappear once you’ve added your first block of information to the event.
Adding Info Blocks to Your Event
After the shortcuts disappear, you can still add information to your event at any time by:
- Clicking the "+" sign on the Event Details page.
- Using the "Add to Event" link in the left-hand column.
These options allow you to add the following info blocks to your event:
- Venue: Specify where the event will take place.
- People: Invite participants like band members, crew, and staff.
- Schedule: Create a detailed timeline for the day.
- Guestlist: Manage attendees and track RSVPs.
- Travel Info: Add transportation details for the team.
- Accommodation: Plan and assign lodging arrangements.
- Event Info Blocks: A collection of blocks you can manage yourself to add different kinds of information to your event.
