Once a Guestlist Block has been created, you can still edit its configuration and manage its content. Here's how to update the title, adjust the settings, or—if allowed—delete the block.
Accessing the Block Settings
On the Event Details page, locate the Guestlist Block you want to manage.
- Click the three dots (•••) next to the guestlist title.
- Select the action you want to perform:
- Edit – to change the configuration
- Edit Title – to rename the block
- Delete – only available if no guests have been added
Editing the Guestlist Configuration
Select "Edit" to open the guestlist settings. You’ll see the same form used when adding the guestlist initially, with some additional controls.
Status: Open or Closed
At the top of the form, you’ll find the Status field:
- OPEN: Adding guests is allowed. Members with the appropriate permissions can continue to add or request guests.
- CLOSED: No further guests can be added to the list.
When you email the guestlist or download it as a PDF, the system will automatically set the status to CLOSED to prevent accidental changes after sharing the final version with the venue or box office. If you need to make further edits, you can manually set it back to OPEN.
Other Editable Settings
- Change the guestlist type (Public, Approval Needed, or Closed)
- Adjust the maximum number of guests per name
- Add or remove ticket/pass types
Note: You cannot reduce the number of available tickets or passes below the number already reserved. Those limits are locked in once guests start getting added.
Editing the Guestlist Title
Select "Edit Title" to rename the guestlist block. A popup will appear where you can enter the new name. This is especially helpful when managing multiple guestlists within the same event (e.g., "Guestlist – Show 1" and "Guestlist – Show 2").
Deleting a Guestlist Block
A Guestlist Block can only be deleted if no guests have been added to it yet.
- Click the three dots (•••) next to the guestlist title.
- Select "Delete".
- Confirm the action in the popup dialog.
If guests have already been added, the delete option will be disabled.
Tip: If you no longer want to use a Guestlist Block that can’t be deleted, rename it to something like “Do Not Use” to avoid confusion.
