The People section gives you an organised way to manage members for each event. It helps you:

  • Track who’s attending, who’s tentative, and who’s unavailable.

  • Send RSVP requests to confirm attendance.

  • Set permissions that determine what event details members can see.

Whether you’re managing a small crew or a large team, the People section ensures you have the right people involved and informed.

Key Features of the People Block

Here are some of the key actions you can perform with the People Block:

How the People Affects Event Access

The People is directly tied to event access and visibility:

  • Members must be added to the People with a status of "Attending," "Maybe Attending," or "Pending RSVP" to see the event in their calendar or iCal feed (unless they have universal access, all events, permissions).

  • Permissions like "View attending events" and "View in attending events" rely on a member’s inclusion in the People section. For more details, see permissions and the People.

Tip: Always add all relevant members to the People to ensure they have proper access and visibility for the event.
